Yemeni Frankincense First Choice

 

Yemeni Olibanum, like Omani frankincense, produces a very pleasant odour in fumigation, with characteristic citrus notes.

 

This incense is indeed a resin of Boswellia sacra produced in Yemen. It is very similar to the Oman Superior Hijari variety. Clean, clear grains with typical resinous and citrus notes.
Not to be confused with Aden frankincense, a resin of Boswellia carterii, also of excellent quality, but which comes from Somalia.
