Tibetan incense

Tibetan incense is becoming increasingly popular. Due to the political situation in Tibet, they are most often produced in Nepal by displaced Tibetan communities. These incenses are appealing because of their rustic character and the raw materials used, most of which are natural and harvested in the regions where the incense is produced.

Tibetan incense most often contains herbs, medicinal plants, woods or aromatic resins. The materials often used are sandalwood, juniper, spikenard, plants and also spices such as cinnamon or cloves.

Most Tibetan incense contains no added fragrance, although there are exceptions. These are usually indicated on our site.

The sticks, without bamboo stems, are generally rolled by hand, one by one, using a wooden board, then left to dry before being packed and dispatched.
