Japanese incense producer Nippon Kodo claims to be the oldest company in the world, dating back to 1575. So it's certainly one of the oldest companies in the world in any category.

Nippon Kodo produces both traditional and very modern incense. Top-of-the-range sticks with high-quality agarwood are very expensive, while products for everyday use are accessible to everyone. The must-have product in the latter category is certainly Morning Star. This range was launched in the 1960s and is aimed more at a Western audience.
