Gyokushodo
The history of this brand dates back to 1804. At the time, it was a supplier of raw materials for the manufacture of traditional incense, including Chinese plants, aromatic woods such as sandalwood and agarwood, spices and medicinal herbs. Incense-making really began around 1850.
In the space of two centuries, Gyokushodo has become one of the leading exponents of this long tradition, which originated in China and has been refined in Japan over the centuries. The company has been based in Osaka since 1804.
