California Incense Cedar
Calocedrus decurrens, also known as incense cedar or California cedar, is a tree native to western North America (Oregon or California). Its sweet, slightly lemony and resinous scent makes it a pleasant choice for purifying spaces, spiritual support, meditation or calming the mind.
Small fragments of this plant can be added to mixtures of other plants (white sage, yerba santa, mugwort, etc.) or resins (copal, frankincense, etc.) and burned on charcoal tablets.
